The procedure are as follows.

1. Create a Gmail account

In order to have a Youtube channel, you will be required to have a Gmail account. You can use an existing Gmail account or create a new one.

2. Visit www.youtube.com

The next step is to visit the Youtube website by typing the url on your preferred browser. On the top right corner of the page you will click on account. You will be propted to login with your existing Gmail account if you have not yet signed in to Youtube, otherwise you will see a pop-up window, click on create a channel.



3. Choose a name for your new channel

One you create a channel, a pop-up window will appear and it would request you to choose a name of your Youtube channel. You can use your default name or a custom name.



4. Upload picture and list your social accounts
One you have chosen your preferred name, you will be be required to upload a profile image for your blog and link your other social media accounts which is an option. Click to save.




5. Save and start posting video.

Now you have your own Youtube channel. You can post videos anytime and gain more viewers and subscribers anytime.
